Pole spacing cannot be selected from wattage alone. Road width, mounting height, setback and the luminaire’s photometric distribution determine the layout. Check illuminance, uniformity and glare for the exact configuration before confirming installation.

Start with the geometry
Record the road width, pole height, setback, bracket reach and spacing. Include bends, junctions, trees and changes in ground level where they affect the light distribution.
Match the distribution
An optic should put useful light where the task requires it. A wide road, a narrow footpath and a parking area have different geometries. A larger nominal wattage is not a substitute for the correct distribution.
Review uniformity and glare
Consider darker areas between poles and visual comfort near junctions or entrances. Request a lighting-layout discussion using suitable photometric data for the actual product configuration.
Confirm the installed arrangement
Product tilt, mounting orientation and site changes can affect the outcome. Confirm the final arrangement with the responsible design and installation teams.
